What this app does

Niyyah Sync connects to your Google Calendar to create five events a day — one per daily prayer — timed from the Adhan (call to prayer) for your location, fetched from the public AlAdhan prayer-times API. It runs a daily job so tomorrow's prayers are booked automatically, without you needing to open the app.

What we access and store

• Your Google account email and ID, to identify your connection.
• A Google OAuth refresh token, used only to create calendar events on your behalf.
• Your approximate location (latitude/longitude and timezone), shared by your browser, used to calculate correct prayer times.

This data is stored in a private database and is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything other than running this app for you.

Calendar access

We request the calendar.events scope, which lets the app create and read events — it cannot change your calendar's sharing settings or access anything outside of events. We only ever create the five prayer events; we never delete or modify events we didn't create.

Third parties

Prayer times are fetched from the AlAdhan API using only your coordinates and date — no account or personal information is sent to it.

Removing your data

Click "Disconnect" in the app to revoke access and delete your stored tokens and location immediately. You can also revoke access anytime from your Google Account permissions page.
